Near the beach at Yui is a precipitous hill which Tokaido travelers have to negotiate. They cannot go around it. However, when they stand on the top of the hill, they are amply rewarded by a lake and in the distance stands Mt.Fuji. This is one of the most scenic spots on the Tokaido Highway.
